Turnout in MS was Expected to be between 125-150,000...Over 400,000 people cast their Ballot!
That is more than two times the expected amount of people voting. Its strange because I heard all day that they werent expect that many people, and all day that turnout was light. Well, that obviosly wasnt the case, and the bigger turnout helped Obama win by 100,000 votes, which pads his Popular vote numbers greatly.

1. The Republican leadership was reporting that turnout was light.
Because they didn't want to acknowledge the heavy turnout of Dems.

I smelled bullshit.

4. Now, let's get a Dem Congressional delegation back in November for MS!

Since Reconstruction, only in the 105th Congress (1997-1999) have Republicans outnumbered Democrats in the MS House delegation. Currently it's tied, 2-2; for most of the 1990's it was 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans.

I think Pickering's seat is flippable. Let's turn MS blue again.
