2. wasn't Mondale from Minnesota?

7. According to who?
the voices in your head?

Obama isn't the one getting campaign advice from a 49-state LOSER.

9. You do realize that the MSM has picked Obama because they know
how easy it'll be to tear him down - right?
I sincerely think that many have fallen for a set up.
After Obama is put through the ringer he won't pull 35% of the popular vote.....

11. After Hillary is put through the ringer
she'll be an even BIGGER loser in the 2008 GE than Geraldine Ferraro was in 1984.

13. This is what happened to McGovern
The hope, unity and change theme didn't work. Add Obama's other baggage plus the lies the Rethugs will tell and I doubt he will get even 35% of the vote.

8. In what way does that "appear to be coming true"?
If you're going to candidate-bash, why not at least say something that makes sense?

10. It appears Obama is on the road to the nomination - and he has already slipped
behind McCain in many polls and the GOP/MSM haven't even gotten ahold of him yet...... he is pristine and already being edged out.... Kerry was up 10+ points at this stage and he was already vetted.....

12. Assuming it's going to be a close race is one thing
That seems to be a given regardless of whether it's Clinton or Obama who receives the nomination. But claiming that it looks as if Obama is only going to carry his home state in the general election is something else altogether, especially if it's only based on the idea that the media hasn't vetted him sufficiently. The media relentlessly attacked Gore and attacked Kerry pretty strongly and both still managed to garner near-majorities of the popular vote.

16. Hillary doesn't need the GOP slime machine to lose

without the black vote, she will lose the GE race before it has even started.

22. You will have to wait and see
I have been studying these nitwits for a long time. I do know what they are up to and it isn't pretty and it is pointless to post it here because Obama supporters think their golden child can't be swift boated

23. I certainly think Obama can be swiftboated
The Repugs will throw anything that they can at Obama if he is our nominee. I believe that any potential Democratic nominee would have everything thrown at them that the Repugs can throw. I just haven't seen any evidence that Clinton is less immune to or more likely to survive being swiftboated than Obama.

24. Yes but I have
I think it is going to be very ugly for him. The rethugs don't do anything overtly. All behind the scenes stuff. The overt part is just the planting of seeds and doubt.

27. More fearmongering from the Hillary crowd
against someone like Obama, swiftboating would only end up backfiring on the GOP, as it has for Hillary.

swiftboat attacks might work on some of the stupid voters in the South, but it would end up turning off more voters than it attracts them, resulting in a net loss of votes for Insane McCain.

15. Ferraro: " If I Wasn’t a Woman, I Wouldn’t Have Been a VP Candidate".
This is a woman who never took herself seriously to begin with. Who wants to hear anything coming out of her mouth?

19. Notice Washington, D.C. supported her and we know who lives there.
In fact, every city with a sizable black population voted overwhelmingly for that all-white ticket back in 1984 (and in every previous and later GE). But what does the black voter get in return for their dedicated and unwaivering support? To be cautiously optimistic, I would like to say the support of an Obama by so many across the country if that is who speaks to that voter.
