Maybe Obama should drop out |
|
If Hillary keeps up the burning down the dem house tactics and continues playing to racists, he'll become unelectable. Perhaps at that point he should just let her have the disaster she's created. Let her have her own pile of shit. He can endorse her and then just ignore her. Let her get smashed by McCain. I'll vote for her but make no mistake, in destroying Obama she's destroying herself and making herself unelectable if she is the nominee this year. I'm now on board with those who think that Hilly isn't in it to win anymore, but to destroy Obama and set herself up for 2012. Perhaps he should let her be destroyed by her own detestable machinations.

|
and destroys both of them, and he drops our, she'll be completely smashed in the general. Although it would be sad to see McCain in the White House, it would be some comfort watching her reap her own shit and become the most despised democrat in the country. And we'd be rid of the Clintons forever.

3. If she wins the Dem primary by appealing to racists I will not vote for her. . . |
|
. . .I will take my chances with John McCain (who I will not vote for), as an African American I CANNOT support a party or a candidate that panders to racists to win elections. I will not vote for Hillary if she panders to racists, I will not vote for McCain because we know the GOP panders to racists.

With Hillary at the helm, we're no longer the Democratic party. We're a left of center wing of the Republican Neo-Con party (AKA the DLC).

No one will respect him because of his foolish nasty short sighted surrogates have laid a line of breadcrumbs back to BO's house. The race baiting they started. Idiots, it's a shame, the bs spewed. i'm glad my state will be blue with or without me.

13. Not being able to survive a primary doesn't necessarily have much to do |
|
with strength in the general election. Consider how McCain was destroyed by Bush in the '00 primaries, but it seems quite likely that McCain would have been a stronger candidate in the general election than Bush was.

She should not be blamed for his own failings, nor he for hers, but all candidates should be blamed (or credited) with their own campaign tactics. If either candidate stokes racial fears and resentments for partisan gain, they should be blamed for that.

In February, I assume that this would all be over after March 4. Obviously, I was wrong.
She is clearly in it until PA, and even a big win in PA doesn't give her the lead...so she must be planning on going beyond that. And, really, the next move after PA is at the convention.
Buckle up for 5 months of fun.

What a deranged and vile thing to say. Sick. You need help if you're confusing my OP with the wish to see Clinton assassinated. I don't like her at all. I don't like how she's campaigned at all, but I certainly wish her no harm, and I've made it clear I'd vote for her. YOU are posting sick shit when you make such comments.

I believe she's figures if she can't win then divide the party and destroy it. I don't honestly believe she can EVER win the democratic nomination after her despicable campaign actions. Neolibs have ties to neocons-I won't be a part of it.

42. It looks so ugly when you put it in print, but yeah... I almost feel that way. |
|
I've been thinking of late, just give Clinton the MI and FL delegates. Why not? Let's give Obama the chance to prove that he, like so many other African-Americans in this country, start out at a disadvantage and have to work twice as hard to achieve success.
I respected Ferraro. I respected Hillary and Bill Clinton. I had enormous respect for Wes Clark and Joe Wilson. To a certain extent, I still do, for their past achievements and their respective positive contributions that they have made to our society. But their comments of late have forever tarnished their images in my mind.
Think back to the time before Ted Kennedy endorsed Obama. I think he was honestly planning to stay out of it and not endorse. But Kennedy is a smart man. He saw what the Clinton strategy was going to be. He warned Bill (because honestly, I think Bill, and to a lesser extent Penn. is the architect of this "Archie Bunker" appeal) not to campaign with this brand of politics. The Clintons said, "Who, me?" and Bill went on an apology tour of black churches after SC. We thought that was an aberration. But Kennedy knew. He knew more of it was to come and that's why he came out and endorsed Obama in the biggest way possible. Teddy saw this coming.
Unfortunately, many like myself didn't. This isn't just fracturing the Democratic party. This is pitting neighbor against neighbor, coworker against coworker, family against family and friend against friend. It's the ugliest type of politics I have ever seen among people who damn well know better. I'm tempted to say let them have it all. Let them have the party, let them have the nomination, let them incur the wrath of all citizens who expected better of them.
