Democrats, as a party, need to convince at least 35 percent of black voters to be Republican

Obviously, blacks voting as a bloc is bad. And since Gore and Kerry received something like 90 percent of the black vote in 2000 and 2004, this is a serious social problem.

What can Democrats - as a party - do to get that number down to a more reasonable figure of 60 to 65 percent?

7. Don't look at that way. It is a numbers/turnout thing not a percentage thing.

AA's will never vote republican unless they are truly a republican. She would easily get the 35% maybe more like 80% but out of what.

If the AA turnout is low then her gains won't mean a lot for her, and that is the problem.
