Conservatives question his patriotism and believe that rush limbaugh is a brave, honorable man.

2. And then he realized that Viet Nam was a wrong war

and came home, protested it, and is now getting attacked for his protesting. He seems like a man who fought for our freedom and then exercised his right to free speech. That threatens the repubs in power, so they question his patriotism.

i'm 18 and i am scared as hell there is going to be a draft but if i get drafted i will not run because even if the war isn't right i will not dishonor my great grandfather that landed at Normandy and my grandfather that fought in Korea i guess to some peoplelike * patriotism is something totally different to them than the way i think of patriotism my grandparents were true patriots like John Kerry and unlike the current occupant of the White House

5. well, I don't believe the war in Vietnam was just

any more than the war in Iraq is. I believe a true patriot can think for himself and say, "My country, right or wrong. When right, to be kept right, when wrong to be set right." I don't believe that patriotism means going along with whatever criminal action the current government decides to send people to die for. Sometimes there is a greater courage, and a larger humanity, that involves rising above blind "patriotism" and following one's conscience.
