It is really amazing how deluded Hillay has become, as evidenced by the "plans" of the Clinton Campaign. Plans obviously manufactured in fantasyland...
Here's just one example:
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=4430817&page=1The Clinton campaign plans to use the coming six-week gap in primary voting to aggressively push its case that Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., lacks the necessary experience to be president as the super delegates loom by far as the most important voters in the race...
After Obama's Tuesday win in Mississippi, the strategy of defining the Illinois senator while the delegate count stays essentially frozen...
"When a team comes from far behind to tie it, that team usually comes back and does well," said Chris Lehane, a Democratic strategist with close ties to the Clinton campaign. "This period is going to cause people to really think through who is best able to match up with John McCain."
The last quote is particularly interesting, given that it was OBAMA who closed a 20 point gap in Texas to win MORE delegates than Clinton there. It was CLINTON who was the presumed nominee, the one who was going to blow it out on Super Tuesday and float into the convention with all sails billowing.
I've had it with this BULLSHIT.
HERE'S THE DEAL Hillary, ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?:
Obama has more pledged delegates than you
Obama has won TWICE as many states as you have
Obama is winning the popular vote nationwide.
Obama won more delegates in Texas than you did.
Obama is ahead of you in every national match-up against McCain.
Obama wasn't on the ballot in Michigan, and will kick your ass in a fair re-vote there.
You were the front-runner and Obama overtook YOU, so you were NOT the one who "came back and did well". He has closed your early lead in every contest so far, and will do the same in PA.
YOUR delegate count has stayed "essentially frozen" by comparison. Obama's has been steadily increasing. This trend will continue among super delegates over the next 6 weeks,
but they are NOT the most important voters in this race...
WE are.
