Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 11:12 AM by samrock
.. and does not offer Hillary the VP slot ( not sure if she wants it or not ) and than loses in November due to loss of women votes and hispanic's . I want to hear NO bitching and moaning about how his lose is Hillary's fault!

P.S. If offered the V.P. slot I think Hillary should accept to try and unite the party..

2. She won't be offered the slot, and women/hispanics will not abandon him in large numbers.

8. WHEN Obama wins the nomination, he will bring in a lot of progressive independents ...
... who will become Democrats and who will make up for the loss of neo-cons, DINOs, DLC and other right-wingers in the Democratic Party who are opposed to Obama.

10. He isn't winning in November; his failure to close Hillary out does not portend well
Hillary's run a lousy campaign in general, and it'll be 6 weeks until the next race. Our nominee should be decided by now, and it isn't.

McCain will be a much tougher foe than a critically flawed, mediocre politician like Hillary.

18. Aren't the Clintons the "greatest politicians ever"? Who've been fighting the
right wing for 35 years?

12. *Yawn*
Women and Latinos voting for Clinton over Obama has no bearing on whether they'd vote for Mccain over Obama.

Nice try though.

13. I agree that a woman on the ticket is an EXCELLENT idea -- but not HRC
and as for Latino voters, there are plenty of politicians with more appeal than she -- she is just the default well-known candidate (the same reason she led among blacks until fairly late in 2007, as well as among the non-young white voters). In any event, I don't see anyone unduly blaming HRC for Obama losing in Nov, although her slash and burn campaign isn't helping any.

14. If Obama loses in November because Hillary supporters refuse to vote for him
Then I want to hear NO bitching and moaning when McCain appoints two anti-choice supreme court justices.

16. she does not want it and will not accept it. She is sitting on tens of millions
in unused GE funds that she would have to give over to the campaign if she were on the ticket.

The degree of which she will be blamed for what is happening in the GE is a direct result of what actions she takes now. Just look

up the thread on how Romney is effusively thanking Hillary for warning the country how dangerous it would be to nominate Obama.

19. THEN McCain wins.
Obama's the hula hoop of politics. Cheap, plastic, and merely a passing fad.
The "Vote for BO or you're a Racist!" meme won't win against McCain.

20. That meme should not win.
Because it is one of the most absurd comments that has been made so far. It is in the same league as the crap that came from the Bush camp.

there is absolutely no other potential VP candidates out there that could ever possibly appeal to women and latinos. None what so ever.

22. One of the few options he has for losing
is by putting her on the ticket. If he puts her on the ticket, and they lose, I don't want to hear any bitching.
