This political season is about "historical precedent."
It has nothing to do with issues, it has nothing to do with who is more experienced, with who is more charasmatic. It has everything to do with what the racist and sexist American people want.

"The black guy or the woman."

That's a fact. I know it's offensive to some here to hear this (I will most likely be called "racist" or "sexist" for pointing it out), but that's exactly what it is. It's the American Idol of primaries. "Will the black guy get it! How about the woman!"

The media has done the impossible and created a horse race of epic proportions. It could, at any momment, end the candidacy of either person. It could ram Rezko down our throats, and make up shit about Obama growing up as a Muslim. It doesn't because it wants a horse race. It could ram Hillary into the ground, instantly, if it wanted her out of the race. For better or for worse they both stay in it. Obama is in the lead, but Hillary doesn't want to give up. They're being played, and the public is being played.

John Edwards was the better candidate of them both, he had better policies. But John Edwards would not have been historical precedent.

He wasn't black, and he wasn't a woman.

Yes, you are being played.
