Hillary Is NOT Going To Win A Majority Of Super Delegate Support At The Convention |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-12-08 06:04 PM by cryingshame
let's try this one more time, though it seems too many Hillary supporters have some sad fantasy that a majority of Super Delegates will got to Clinton if she insists on taking this all the way to the Convention.
They won't.
Hillary has insulted and ignored too many small states, red states, purple states, states with too many blacks etc.
And her behavior during this primary season is simply a continuation of the Clintons' past strategy of allowing Democrats in any states outside of their small core to languish in oblivion.
Hillary has been shown to have a weaker capacity to generate money and enthusiasm.
She has zero to negative coattails for elected Democrats in other than a few safe Democratic states.
It will be an outrage if she continues dragging this on to the Convention.
At least those of us who accept political reality as it exists will have the grim satisfaction/schadenfreude of watching her go down to defeat on the first ballot.

One thing we can be sure of Super Delegates will always act in their own self interest so I think what you said is what will happen.
