This November I 'll Vote for Kerry & Boxer and Green On All Else. |
|
This life-long Democrat is fed up with the Democratic Party.
I don't even recognize this compromising, cowardly corporate group anymore.
Kerry gets my vote because it's a vote against Bush.
Boxer gets my vote because she deserves it.
Every thing Ralph Nader says about the Democratic Party is true.

We need to get Bush* out, then make changes. I agree that the Democrats compromise way too much. I still support the party, but I can see why you are frustrated.
People will probably flame you and tell you not to let the door hit you on the way out, but I won't be condescending.

3. I Will Be Writing A $1,000 Check to the California Green Party This Summer |

It feels great being aligned with people who don't take your money, your sweat, your passion and then betray you.
A corporate whoring politician is just that...regardless of his/her Party status.

2. well you listen to the 2nd coming that is Ralph |
|
I don't trust Ralph as much as I don't trust Shrub
but I'm not saying Kerry is the 2nd coming either, He has to earn people's vote,
and as far as I see it, if Clark or Edwards ain't the number 2, then he has already lost, PERIOD.

4. Kerry Should Pick Wes Clark for VP. We Agree. |
|
I am beginning to believe it's his only chance now.

9. Ralph isn't the Green candidate... |
|
so voting for the Green Party candidates down ticket to "listening" to Nader really isn't a conection you can make...

This is the most responsible, practical, and intelligent way to vote.
President, Senate, and House set the direction for the country. It's the big picture and how that picture needs cleaning up.
Voting third-party for the lower-level offices, even House, is the way to build an alternative to the two-party system. It'll never happen top down as evidenced by the third-party candidacies that have made a big splash, sometimes tilting the results, and fade away as soon as the election is over.

Kerry gets my vote. Boxer gets my vote.
The rest goes to the Greens.

7. More Reactionary Legislation Passed Under Daschle Than Frist & Lott. |
|
The ugly truth is as stated above:
Patriot Act passed under Daschle. IWR under Daschle. Homeland Defense under Daschle. Airline Bailout under Daschle (Mrs. Daschle = American Airlines lobbyist)
After Dashle lost the Senate and his position, he actually made sure he voted in Frist's Senate FOR the so-called "partial birth" assault on a woman's right to privacy, health, life, and to control her reproductive rights).
I am voting for Barbara Boxer because she has earned my vote.
But for Congress and state positions, it's Green from here on out.

10. Who's your represenative in the house? |
|
Is he liberal/progressive? If he has a good voting record, I think it would be a good idea to vote for them as well.

11. I've voted this way for years. |
|
Democrats for president, congress, governor. 3rd party for other offices.
Kerry & Boxer have my vote; I'll also vote for whatever dem opposes Howard "Buck" McKeon in the 25th district; but I'm not holding my breath there. The rest will be 3rd party candidates. Some green, some Universal Law.
