I wonder why Kerry went immediately... |

to the right right after he got the votes enough to win the nomination, agreeing with Bush on key issues such as this:
1) Concurred with Bush on Sharon policy 2) Right of refusal to the Palenstinian people rejected 3) Condemned the Spanish PM for withdrawing troops from Iraq
And who are we voting for again? Another Skullsman. Basically the same boss, different face.
That'll go over the presidential debates real well.
I'm sorry, but I'm seriously considering writing in Howard Dean because he keeps proving that he's right all the time, while Kerry continues to waffle and basically give carte-blanche to Bush.
If the delegates at the DNC convention would grow a spine, they'd rebel and reject Kerry and write in Howard Dean as a compromise candidate, and that'll give Rove nightmares and Dean can easily raise the money in a very short time needed. Also, it rejects the DLC's favorite fodder and weakens and forces the DLC top-tier people to resign in disgrace, and you know it needed to be done, looking at disaster after disaster (1994 with the Repuke takeover, 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2002 elections) Dean vs Bush in a presidential debate would be very entertaining watching Dean clobber Bush with a cluebat or a 2x4 cluestick.
(For your information - I'm a Democrat, so please keep your accusations to a minimum)

6. Yeah, wolf in sheep's clothing |

That's why its good to have Nader and the green candidates breathing down his neck. I mean, are people voting for him or his principles? On paper, he looks as bad as Bush now. He condones and supports the war. How neocon is that. Read the Buying of the President 2004 by Charles Lewis. Find out how Kerry is bankrolled. I'm sure it doesn't matter to people that just want Prince Charming to deliver them from this mess we are in. Kerry supporters are talking about his sex appeal. Give me a break. The last thing we need in office is someone who gets there on his stilted speeches and irrelevant character attributes. Give me substantial policy, don't give me Bush with a wig and a saavy Boston accent.

Cracks appear in Bush circlehttp://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1082371891404&call_pageid=968256290204&col=968350116795<SNIP> But Powell and other like-minded members of the "moderate" wing of the Republican party were already in a funk about the government that they helped put into office.
Some, with a large dose of irony, were even quietly applauding Howard Dean — then the fiery front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination — for raising the hard questions about the war's origins and purpose that no one else seemed ready to do. <SNIP> It was too much effort for Kerry to raise those questions because he voted to give Bush virtually unlimited war powers.

I'm not going to sit here all afternoon and delete all the personal attacks that inevitably come when a newbie starts out swinging at Kerry.
