Funny, Some DU'ers React To Wright But Happily Ignore Hagee (Who's In The News More Prominently)

it's really curious. You'd think at least SOME Of the DU'ers freaking out over Wright would have started similarly outraged posts on Hagee.

Hagee has been in the news WAY more prominently the last couple of days.

Wright mostly says things that are true, but expressed in a politically incorrect way.

Hagee is just fucking nuts. And he is dangerous.

Bill Moyers had a program about Hagee. He is supporting Israel but ultimately so the Jews can be "Left Behind".

If you think Wright is going to be a problem open your eyes and read about Hagee.

3. But Hagee isn't McCain's Pastor. Wright Married Michelle and Barack and baptized the kids
"Audacity of Hope" is dedicated to him. A huge difference.

6. The more rabid Hilbots are obsessed with destroying Obama because...
....they feel like Hillary has been cheated on the way to her coronation.

They can't win on the issues so instead, they spend all their time trying to destroy a decent person.

7. McCain is not sitting in the sanctuary. Ever. He also did not write a book
that was inspired by Hagee like "Your Asses Are Hell Bound!"

8. It's really amazing how much joy some Hillary supporters are getting out of this Wright story.
If my whole life revolved around DU, I'd think this Wright story is the biggest story since the Iraq war.

I work in a pretty big office, and didn't hear one person mention the story all day.

I came home and watched CNN, and they had a short piece on the story, but there wasn't really much drama.

I checked some political futures markets, which seem to be horrible at predicting primary winners, but which do a decent job of capturing the current CW. I think Obama's only down about 1 point for the day and still up on Hillary by nearly 50.

Then, I log onto this site, and it's like Obama was just caught spending $80,000 on hookers. This (non)story is overwhelming this site right now. For some reason, I find it somewhat disturbing that people are much more excited here about the story (many of them gleeful) than anywhere else in the world. Is this all some massive joke that I'm just not getting?
