Wright predicted Obama would never be president because he's black
Nor any other black candidate.

"We've got more black men in prison than there are in college," he began. "Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, no matter how hard you run Jesse and no black woman can ever be considered for anything outside what she can give with her body."

Jeremiah Wright, January 15, 2006.

3. It's ironic that Wright has been a self fulfilling prophecy. And he's
wrong, a black man was "considered."

5. Your link says article but the link is to an Opinion piece from WSJ.
Fox News, Pat Buchanan, and the WSJ Opinion Page are now the sources of choice for Hillary supporters? Wake up for Christ's sake, stop agreeing with the Right wing.

8. Looks like they're finally asking a few question of BO. quote from article
The media have largely ignored Mr. Obama's close association with Mr. Wright. This raises legitimate questions about Mr. Obama's fundamental beliefs about his country. Those questions deserve a clearer answer than Mr. Obama has provided so far.

16. Yes, I look forward to that being discussed more
See, when Obama was a community organizer, he went to all of the churches in his area, UCC being only one of them, organized them to start working with each other and addressing the issues (poverty, jobs, etc.)of their communities. Isn't it cool how that is something Jesus would do?

10. Well, Obama obviously disagrees with this guy on a lot. This actually helps Obama.
He can say - obviously, I disagree with him on a lot of things, on our basic outlook on the country.

13. Dumbest post on the subject yet....

Your statement is the equivalent of saying that EVERY pro-choice Catholic was endorsing the church's pro-life position every time they went to mass.

Sitting in a congregation now equals "I endorse what this guy is saying"????

Pathetic.
