it's killing me that the media is giving it any legs whatsoever.....seriously, they're going to bitch about whether Kerry's first wound was sufficient to warrant the Purple Heart??? Get a clue repukes, the guy volunteered to go to Vietnam and command a patrol boat instead of sipping champagne and protecting the Texas Airspace before ditching completely in Alabama....and then he returned to criticize the politicians decisions to be in Southeast Asia at all? God for bid a veteran be allowed to excercise his or her Constitutional right to free speech....and then there's that numb-nuts Texan (name escapes me) saying that Kerry's activities in 1971 make him unfit to be commander-in-chief - excuse me, but were shrub's activities at that same time presidential? It takes balls the size of Texas to go after a guy's war record. The fuck has no right to say a god-damned thing about Kerry's record. While Kerry was getting his ass shot at - Bush was smoking crack and getting smashed in Alabama (I'm not sure the CIA invented crack back then, but if they had it, Bush would have smoked it).

This story would end if Kerry just pointed out he had the nerve to go over there in the first place and not ask his daddy to go to the TANG.

NBC did a piece about Kerry this morning and his military record which was praised as "glowing". They had no repug there to dispute it, that made me smile alittle. This was a win for the Kerry team, no doubt about it. I hope they continue to bring up his military record.
