Let's See What Obama Thinks About Wright, Quote Here, And Video!
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 09:30 AM by fbuzz
So, the man who is not only his mentor for twenty years, married him and his wife, baptized his children, gave him an official position in his campaign, etc., is suddenly in no way shape or form, like this man. Let's forget that Obama got $22,500 in one year from Wright, attended his church on a weekly basis, and got the title of his book from him.

Obama says that rather than advising him on strategy, Wright helps keep his priorities straight and his moral compass calibrated.

"What I value most about Pastor Wright is not his day-to-day political advice," Obama said. "He's much more of a sounding board for me to make sure that I am speaking as truthfully about what I believe as possible and that I'm not losing myself in some of the hype and hoopla and stress that's involved in national politics."

Videos of Obama's big role model:

Michelle only stood up and gave a speech about how horrible this country was until recently. Why am I not surprised? Why am I also not surprised that the Obama supporters would throw themselves under a bus, before actually waking up, and admitting to what is actually happening? What do I know? I'm a white devil after all. The Obama followers may have no problem with this, but watch how it flies in a general election, as well as all the heaps of other scandal Obama has, including his convicted terrorist partner, who he took 10,000 dollars from for his campaign.

It's all Hillary's fault remember!

4. What's the Problem?
As to the first video, explain to me what is inaccurate in what Wright said?

As to the second video, it is obviously a hit piece with little context.

Even then, besides being provocative, explain the points where Wright's argument is so outlandish?

Or have you been living is George W. Bush' "Leave it to Beaver" dream world for the past eight years?

7. Say hello to President McCain if Obama gets the nod.
People need to get out of the echo chamber here in DU and listen to Moderate Dems, Independents and even Repugs he has said whispered in his ear. There is no way, no how, he can win the general election. He needs to take responsibility for yet another bone-headed judgement. This shit is out there in e-mails across this country. Sticking your head in the sand won't change a thing.

20. Ok, I did
using the term spiritual advisor for an endorsement is disingenuous, I thought you were better than that.

McCain is a member of a church here in Arizona were he lives, not Texas. Lame way to spin Obama/Wright connection.

McCain endorsement

In February 2008, Hagee endorsed the Presidential candidacy of Republican nominee John McCain at a San Antonio news conference, igniting criticism from the Democratic National Committee, the Catholic League, and other groups. McCain refused to renounce Hagee's endorsement, but issued a statement stating that "in no way did I intend for his endorsement to suggest that I in turn agree with all of Pastor Hagee's views, which I obviously do not."<28>

14. Funny, that's exactly how I feel about Hillary
Say hello to president McCain - because she won't get any indies or changed pukes to vote for her (not to mention a lot of progressive Dems who she has pissed off).

Obama has won 14 of the past 17 states with the Muslim rumors, the drug using rumors, the McCain is more qualified BS, and everything else that has been tossed at him. Why do you think this has more staying power then all the other crap that has not stuck?

Over 13.5 million voters so far would beg to differ.

16. like these emails?
December 10, 2007
Third Clinton Volunteer Knew Of Smear E-Mail

A third volunteer for Hillary Clinton's campaign was aware of a propaganda e-mail alleging that Barack Obama is a Muslim who plans on "destroying the U.S. from the inside out."
"Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential Candidacy," the email reads. "Please forward to everyone you know. The Muslims have said they Plan on destroying the U.S. from the inside out, what better way to start than at The highest level."

Two Clinton volunteers, Linda Olson and Judy Rose, have already been asked to resign from the campaign for their roles in forwarding the e-mail. The AP reported yesterday that Olson, a volunteer coordinator in Iowa County, sent a version of the e-mail to 11 people, including Ben Young, a regional field director for Chris Dodd's campaign. Young passed it on to the AP.

Kerrey Apologizes to Obama Over Remark
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory?id=4031436
Kerrey's mention of Obama's middle name and his Muslim roots raised eyebrows because they are also used as part of a smear campaign on the Internet that falsely suggests Obama is a Muslim who wants to bring jihad to the United States. Obama is a Christian.

The Clinton campaign has already fired two volunteer county coordinators in Iowa for forwarding hoax e-mails with the debunked claim. Last week, a national Clinton campaign co-chairman resigned for raising questions about whether Obama's teenage drug use could be used against him, so Kerrey's comments raised questions about whether the Clinton campaign might be using another high-profile surrogate to smear Obama.
