I have heard of rhetoric from the Falwells and Robertsons of the world regarding 911, aids, the pope, Islam, gays, abortion, political assasination, etc that is far more un-hinged than anything Wright preached.

Instead of asking Obama to denounce this former pastor - of a fairly mainstream black church -- for fear of a RW backlash, why don't we just cull some choice excerpts of other excited preachings and celebrate the freedom of speech and religion that we have in America.
