Clinton and Obama spoke on the Senate floor today, as you can watch above.

An Obama aide said Obama had initiated the conversation, and that they'd spoken about the tone of the race.

The aide said they'd agreed that their supporters had gotten out of hand and that things needed to be tamped down a bit, but said it had been a harmonious, not accusatory, chat...

6. Most positive item I have seen here in several days.
I am glad that the candidates recognize how destructive the behavior of some of their supporters is to both of them.

I wish they would come on over to DU and slap some of these people around.

And I wish that the most vocal supporters on this board would try, just try, to model some of their behavior on that of their candidate. Neither candidate has acted like so many of the people posting here.
