I can feel it in my bones.
He's going to be an amazing president, and provide real leadership for this country.

3. He better start running a better campaign |
|
He can beat Bush, but I don't know if he will. He is running such a safe campaign, basically saying on Iraq, Terrorism, and Israel that he would do the same as Bush, only he would do it "smarter". He needs to lay out a real alternative vision, not a blurring of the line and difference between liberals and conservatives on these issues.

5. I'm not a better. But I'm willing to bet on Kerry this year too. |
|
I think he is doing a fantastic job and he's running a very SMART campaign. We have every reason to be proud and loud about it.
the bush camp has thrown down 40 million or so and have nothing to show for it.
Kerry is doing SOMETHING right. I give the man his props and anxiously await for the rest of the election when he gives the right a taste of their own medicine.
I'm still going to do my part and contribute, volunteer, spread the word, write letters, etc. It makes me feel better.

The analytical side of me sees it, easy.
Then, I go visit my Lifetime Republican relatives one weekend and hear NOTHING but bitchin' and moanin' about Bush*.
Then I REALLY feel it in my bones.

7. getting more votes doesn't necessarily equal winning . . . |
|
not as long as BushCo owns the voting machines in key states . . . like, say, Florida . . .

8. That is why we have to write letters/emails to our congressmen about BBV. |

If there is a fair election, we get a landslide!
Yes, I do feel that victory is within out grasp. As Arianna Huffington said tonight, "we have to think landslide."
Just for the sheer joy of getting to hear the Dixie Chicks sing "Landslide" at Kerry's inaugural ball.

9. Let's make sure that we do everything we can to ensure that he does win. |
|
-First, we'll need to show some discipline and *all* get behind the Democratic nominee. Kerry wasn't my first pick (or my second, or third), but he will be the nominee, and thus, I support him. -Donate. Volunteer. Attend meet-ups. Be active. -Keep the BBV issue front and center. -Don't let the media pull the same crap that it did in 2000, like allowing the totally phony "Al Gore invented the Internet" LIE to be bandied around. That kind of bogus spin needs to be shot down in its tracks immediately. -Get the word out to anyone you know who's sitting on the fence.
