I understood the point of your OP is that the party is being torn apart to get the nomination and in the process we're harming the chances of winning in Nov.
But have you noticed that whenever anyone tries to point this out each side point to the other side as being the source of the problem, and round and round we go.

The bashing won't stop here til there is a nominee. And by that time it will be too late to pull everyone together.
