|
Legitimate criticism and disagreement = bullshit. Check out this forum. How much "bullshit" is coming from HC people? The only reason you think the unmitigated hate towards Hillary isn't bullshit is because you believe your own bullshit. That hate is why we have already lost the GE. If O is nominated, the alienated non-worshippers will never help him and many will go for McC. If HC wins, all you folks have convinced yourselves that she is the beast of Revelation and will not help her and may stay home or vote McC.
We lost this election the minute Edwards was forced out.

21. I'm still not over Edwards |
|
When poll after poll showed him handily beating any republican they threw at him I'm really at a loss as to why his candidacy ended so soon. It's my regret that once again my preferred candidate was out of the race before my state primary. Everyone encouraged him out for the sake of party unity. Yeah, that's really worked out well, hasn't it?

28. I think anyone that posts topics that only serve to divide American... |
|
voters are a huge part of the reason we could lose the GE. Some people post things that have no other purpose but to divide people and they don't realize what affect it has on the country. Together we stand, divided we fall! The systems divide and conquer plan works perfectly on those who cant think for themselves. The media spews out some propaganda and the weak minded come to places like DU to spread the same propaganda. I understand why the elite would want to hurt us but I don't understand why average people want to divide and destroy our childrens future?
You would think that people would at least care about their own family's future?

13. Yog-Sothoth knows the gate....Yog-Sothoth is the gate...... |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 02:05 PM by jus_the_facts
.....Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth.
He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again. He knows where They have trod earth’s fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread. By Their smell can men somtimes know them near, but of Their semblance can no man know, saving only in the features of those They have begotten on mankind; and of those are there many sorts, differing in likeness from man’s truest eidolon to that shape without sight or substance which is Them. They walk unseen and foul in lonely places where the Words have been spoken and the Rites howled through at their Seasons. The wind gibbers with Their voices, and the earth mutters with Their consciousness. They bend the forest and crush the city, yet may not forest or city behold the hand that smites.
Great Cthulhu is Their cousin, yet can he spy Them only dimly. Iä! Shub-Niggurath! As a foulness shall ye know Them. Their hand is at your throats, yet ye see Them not; and Their habitation is even one with your guarded threshold. Yog-Sothoth is the key to the gate, whereby the spheres meet. Man rules now where They ruled once; They shall soon rule where man rules now. After summer is winter, and after winter summer. They wait patient and potent, for here shall They reign again.”

As soon as we accept Obama as our Lord and savior.
Some of us resent the religious implications in that list.
We prefer the term "new overlord" to "Lord and savior."

25. Just FYI, there are Congressional and state elections this year. |
|
So folks who are saying DU will be renamed OU when he is nominated might want to wonder why they are putting their hopes and dreams in one man who, even if successful, will have no law-making power. Again, I return to a remark that I thought was assumed but I now find myself repeating over and over: he's running for president, not king.

33. As a Hillary supporter, it reminds me of realities in the senate |
|
More fun being in the minority. The Obama backers are so defensive it's hysterical.
IMO, it's residue of the media slanting on his behalf to such extreme the Obama group decided it was the rightful norm. Kind of like reading a golf putt and thinking it's dead straight when the real world sees a 10 foot break. Now with the inevitable turn toward more scrutiny and more balance it's like a system shock and they don't know how to handle it.
Besides, what do I care? Just because they identified the likely winner of the primary doesn't mean they handicapped correctly. I was here in '04 when all the electable garbage was dumped in Kerry's lap. That wasn't reality, and neither is Obama the better pick than Hillary. It's a Democratic year and we'll win, and believe me I'll support our nominee as much as anyone, but it's hardly a push button certainty any Democrat can mend the economy. Hillary and the old team from the '90s were the superior choice.

38. Pretty funny to put that thing about "coronation" in there. Some of us remember how we were supposed |
|
to roll over for the Clinton inevitability train before a single fucking primary took place.
Remember, it's HER TURN, DAMMIT!!!
"Coronation" is decreeing your candidate the inevitable nominee before the primary process starts, and then acting all pissy, as if you've somehow been robbed of something you're 'entitled' to, if anyone dares to successfully challenge them.
It's not a "coronation" when you WIN. When you GET THE MOST VOTES.
To answer your question in the OP: Never. However, sooner or later (presumably) we will have a nominee, at which point it will be against to rules to endorse, oh, say.... John McCain over that nominee.
