Joint Ticket or Cooked Goose
Edited on Fri Mar-14-08 01:34 PM by LulaMay
What will it be?

The moment of truth is here.

Are we the champions of ALL people, or not?

Do we rise to the challenge and become the brightest beacon of hope this world has ever seen,

or do we throw it all away?

The people can still have their say.

The people can still tell party leaders what we want, and what we won't stand for.

The people can still tell those who speak for us in the media to stop.

WE are those people.

What will it be?

2. If all people felt just like you
Then your idea would carry more weight. But shrieking to the wind serves no purpose. Face it, there are divided schools of thought and there is no sense in trying to combine them. Just because you are holding two pieces to the same jigsaw puzzle doesn't mean they are going to fit together. In fact, most of the time, they don't.

7. But if you work the entire puzzle in
the end those pieces will fit. I feel as Lulamay does, but I feel, also, that I have been shrieking in the wind because I feel no one listens. Ultimately it is up to us. If we don't immobilize all the talking heads and "journalists" who try to tell us what to think and do, but it will take ALL of us, not just one or two voices in the wind. Look what they are doing to Obama concerning his pastor. Obama is not his pastor, but the media want to link the two together. Same with Geraldine Ferraro. I don't think she said anything racist, but the media told us she did. The media start the train rolling and some people jump right on for the ride. Those talking heads just keep getting bigger and bigger by the day. Maybe they will explode.

8. We are all shrieking in the wind.
As usual, it's going to come down to who can shriek the loudest. :-(

9. "experience we can trust" Seriously?
If "experience" caused her to vote yes on the IWR and Kyl-Lieberman and to be squishy about torture, that's precisely the kind of experience America needs like a hole in the head.

Just say no to the Clintons.

6. I don't think it can happen after Clinton said Obama didn't pass "the test" but McCain did
Honestly I think Pelosi has a good point here.

12. Actually, Hillary said Obama MIGHT pass the test, but only AFTER she gets the nomination.
What a piece of work she is! The crap Hillary spews is far worse than anything Rev. Wright has said.

11. Obama will lose more votes than he'll pick up if he puts Hillary on the ticket - including mine.
