How can anybody respect a person who considers that buffoon "reverend" his "mentor" and spiritual guide? The jackass reverend reeks of hatred and racist rationalizing stupidity, while Obama has spent 20 years and at least twenty thousand bucks supporting him. Obama's attendance tells me that they're on the same philosophical plane, and I find it shocking that Obama idolizes and seeks to emulate a man from a lower intellectual one.

Making matters worse, Obama's defense in the matter is wholly incoherent. Is "Reverend" Wright his "mentor" or his "crazy uncle"? Sounds like vacillating ad hoc dishonest nonsense to me.

What we Democrats have here is a likely candidate who was not properly screened. Would millions of young white voters have flocked to Obama if they had witnessed the suddenly notorious YouTube video and had been informed that Obama considers that lunatic his mentor and guide? I seriously doubt it. To borrow a line from Obama, himself, I'm feeling bamboozled. And very, very queasy because I no longer consider him electable. Unfortunately, he has become the Democratic Party's death wish.

"I was an Obama supporter but now by God I've seen the light." LOL, I must have seen a dozen of those today.

3. So if you have a friend that usually is reasonable, but very rarely says something crazy...
then you'd want to be judged by that? There is far from any reason to think that most of the time Wright was a perfectly normal pastor. The best detractors of Obama can come up with is less than a HANDFUL of incidents where someone Obama respects said something incendiary. How is that a big deal?

Also, the Church Obama goes to is much bigger than this one pastor. Bear that in mind.

4. what do you think about Hillary chumming up to McCain
so cozily and lovingly and respectfully when McCain once called Chelsea those awful names.

what kind of a mother would betray her kid in such a horrible way?

can you explain that? anything goes when it's mama's political career at stake, darling?

that to me is a far worse 'infraction' than some exuberant preacher commenting on society.

5. He addressed this already.

My admiration and respect for Obama has not wavered with yet another -in a long list- of distractive bullshit which is being tossed at him. I judge Obama by his own actions, not by those of some crazy ass preacher comments.

Since when do we dig into our candidates religions and any associated practitioners of said faith - and attribute all the preacher/mentor types say to the candidate as truth? Better this BS is vetted now then in the GE anyway.

Very thankfully, 13.6 million voters have not been deterred by the Muslim, drug, or not as good as McLame rumors.

I'm surprised something so stupid has any traction - I think it will hurt the pushers of this more than Obama himself.

7. Did you respect him 2 days ago?

Admiration and respect are of course two separate things. If you only admired him 2 days ago, then your statement of lost respect won't really have the desired effect.
