Concerning Censure of Bush....

From 1st day in office bush has done what he said he would."preserve,protect and defend the constitution" I will continue to work with bush to maintain global War on terrorism and provide our soldiers with every tool they need.

this is a war that will span over a generation as our brave men and women hunt down the terrorists and those who allow the evil roots of terrorism to grow in their countries......

although we may not agree on this issue I am confident there are many issues we do agree on...

1. I hate that when they do that...

I got a form letter back from Lugar(R)'s office here in IN after I wrote in condemnation of something, and it was all on about "Thank you for your support, blah ditty-blah, continue to work toward our common goal..." It's like whoever they're paying to stuff envelopes doesn't even glance at the letters, first.

2. Well, what did you expect???

Seriously, did you expect your letter to create some kind of earth shattering epiphany? Letters to Congressmen rarely have any kind of impact to begin with, much less a letter that he clearly isn't going to have any kind of support from. I don't like the man much either, but still... I think your expectations were just a mite too high.

5. Well, it depends

public reaction can sway a Member of Congress when there's some question as to how he or she'll vote. But 280 million letters wouldn't get Don Young to propose censure of the President, just as a similar number wouldn't get Hillary Clinton to join the National Right to Life Committee.

4. I did expect

him to at least have a clue that people in his district feel that bush should be kicked the hell out........and no I'm not stopping here.....I want him and the rest of those damn republicans kicked out and/or voted out of office..........
