But I sure as hell am telling some of you that the Reverend Wright is a serious problem for Obama's Campaign. I don't know if Obama will be able to address this issue successfully no matter what he does. Even if he completey disavows his pastor I'm not sure he can convince much of the American electorate that he should be President. You can argue until the cows come home that Reverend Wright is not Obama and his views are not Obama's and it won't make a whit of difference to many voters.

This is one of those types of things that many of us have warned of this entire campaign season when we said the press was handling Obama with kid gloves.

Both Clinton and McCain have been examined under a microscope by the press for years....they have survived all sorts of scrutiny. Obama's background was not looked at in any depth until just recently by the press. It incenses me that this entire mess was not brought up until now.....had it been brought up earlier the entire primary season may have been completely different.

after hearing them?

Rev. Wright's job was to provide spiritual guidance for his
congregation. Look at how Barack Obama has worked to unite
people during this campaign, not to mention his work on
behalf of "the least among us" during his community organizing
days and life before public service. He's trying to run a new
kind of campaign, relying on small donors instead of big money
and avoiding personal attacks in favor of sticking to the issues.

I'd say Rev. Wright did a darned good job of inspiring Barack
Obama to be a good Christian, as well as to live out his faith through
his actions.

It is pretty telling where the only criticism obama has received in the past couple weeks is from things other people have said... yet the MSM doesn't cover the fact that she said McCain was qualified to be commander and chief with as much negativity. That is the difference... saying something happened is not the same as putting a negative spin on it ... even Nancy saying it won't be a joint ticket because clinton so damaged the party... is barley covered.

Time did not stand still in the year 2000. Bill Clinton has been doing all kinds of shady crap, including but not limited to, not keeping it in his pants. He's making $$million$$ from his lowlife associates and engaging in some pretty scandalous international intrigue. Anything he does reflects on her, which is why she's being cagey about the tax returns. And who knows what they might reveal about legislative favors she's done.

Obama will shake this up. He will be different from McCain. Radically different. And that's what America needs to get off of this nightmare that's been going down since Reagan was president.
