I remember Chris Matthews calling him that, point blank, right when Wes Clark pulled out of the race. It was disgraceful. Matthews said that Kerry would never choose Clark as his running mate because it was well known that Wesley Clark was Clinton's spy.

I think Clark should be the candidate. I was, am, and will continue to be one of his biggest supporters. I maxed out in contributing to his campaign and also spent a lot of money and time on "independent" expenditures to promote him. But I have to criticize something. I don't like what Wes Clark said about resolving the situation in Fallujah. Sorry, but I have to be honest. I don't think overwhelming force, a division or more of troops rather than 3,500 Marines, will scare the insurgents into submission and cut down civilian casualties. I think the US should put different troops, possibly from arab nations into that town. The US should not continue trying to exercise proprietary rights over Iraq and I think that this is Clark's general feeling as well. I think he's being inconsistent regarding Fallujah. We don't own Iraq and we should not be acting like we do.
