I'm watching the ads from the Toomey-Specter fight

but there's one thing we can hope, in a fight this brutal, the losing side will stay home election day.

One is a crook who lets rich drunk drivers off scot free and the other is a man who has a crook for a campaign manager and lets polluters bring trash into the state.

if he wants to get legislation passed. He may have a point...

4. If we have a choice between running a Dem against Specter or Toomey,

we'd rather have Toomey. But we run the risk, if the Dem nominee isn't strong enough, of having two Santorums representing the Keystone State in the Senate instead of just one.

I shudder at that particular thought. If we don't have a strong Dem to run, we're better off if Specter wins. At least he's pro-choice...
