!! BUSH IS GOING TO LOSE !! |
|
There should be no doubt that Kerry will redirect forces toward international support and pullout. Infighting attacks upon Kerry is what Neo-con propaganda crap is designed to incite. Some people fall for it, but not most.
!! BUSH IS GOING TO LOSE !!
..feels so good to say and believe. Believe it!!
Ask yourself, how many democrats have switched to Bush? The answer is zero. Ask how many Moderates have switched from Bush to ABB? The answer is millions. The close race of 2000 will not be repeated. Bush will not win even Florida.
Dear dwindling Naderites, stop falling into neo-con traps. Nader will not get even 1/8 the voters of 4 years ago.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who gets this.
The 2000 race was a virtual tie. (Although both sides claim victory, the numbers were close enough to see that the voters were pretty much divided 50-50.)
As much as I love Al Gore; wish he were our president; and am convinced the world would be a much safer place if he were in office instead of Bush ... I'm sorry, but he was a rather weak candidate. He didn't have to be, but I believe he played it safe, did not emphasize his opponent's painfully obvious weaknesses, was not aggressive enough.
In 2000, Bush had not yet made a mess of our country.
So Bush got about half the vote in 2000, without a track record, and running against a timid candidate. This year, he's running on the worst record in perhaps our nation's history, against a man who, for lack of a better term, isn't going to take any shit. Add to all this the fact that Kerry is an accomplished speaker, and Bush has trouble properly reciting a complete sentence.
Bush doesn't stand a chance, and I can't figure out why that's not obvious to more Democrats. Here's what a now-tombstoned disruptor posted this morning:
"If the war goes along like it has been and the economy begins creating more jobs there is no way (Kerry) will win."
That's the best they can do. The worst economy since Hoover, which the Republicans themselves call a "jobless recovery" is creating jobs. And, apparently, things in Iraq are right on schedule.
This is the best they can do.

6. He shouldn't have "invented the internet." |
|
Gore made some wild statements. Even then, he won the popular vote.

14. That's why I put it in quotes. It was the perception that Bush's |
|
people tried to push. They will try to push other perceptions of Kerry, e.g., flip-flopper. That perception already has some traction if we use Letterman and Leno as criteria.

12. Actually, as outlandish as that sounds |
|
It has SOME truth to it. Gore saw the enormous potential of ARPANET, the military information transfer program already in used by the armed forces, and was one of the biggest proponents behind a proposal for funding to bring it to civilians.
So there is truth, some truth, behind "Gore invented the Internet."

Everything you said is true. However, remember that most of the people in this country are stupid.

2. I can't imagine that anyone |
|
who voted for Gore in 2000 will be voting for Chimp in 2004. I also believe that a lot of moderates and apolitical independents who voted for Bush because they thought he was going to return honor and dignity to the White House will either be staying home or voting for Kerry. The 40% diehard Bush fans (and I question that number) will vote for Bush no matter what he does. The ambivilent will go for Kerry because they will be ready for a change.

3. The "40%" die-hard bushies... |
|
i would say it is more like 20%. I'm here in NE, and NO ONE is defending bush in public; I mean NO ONE!!!!
Those that vote for bush will be "one issue" voters, like anti-abortionists, and "vote-by-rote" RW'ers.
I believe this will be a landslide against bush. Say what they will in the polls, they must be going to GOP HQ's to find people that trust bush. This guy is a walking disaster....:)

4. Repeat of Carter in '80? |
|
I would just love to see Bush suffer the fate of the WH incumbent in 1980, Jimmy Carter. Carter went down in a landslide; the vote was a savage rebuttal of his policies from the electorate. I would pay good money to see W bite the dust the way Carter did.
Of course, I would still be happy with a 47 - 43 win in the popular vote. Anything to get the thugs out of the West Wing.
GO KERRY! WAX BUSH!

Jimmy Carter was a victim of mediawhoring that put a dunce (ronald mcdonald) into WH and set stage for the neocon takeover we've seen. I recall PERSONALLY the '$58 billion' deficit Carter ran with the last budget.....and it was front page mediawhore's gone crazy news for weeks....a couple years later ronald mcdonald ran the most massive deficit in US history, and that made back page in the financial section.... also, only 37 % of electorate voted in the ronald mcdonald ballot, if i remember correctly. btw welcome to DU...

7. It may look like a landslide in NE, but let me invite you to the South |
|
or the mid-west. Believe me, I hear all the time about how great this wonderful President is, and how he is going to bring God back into our culture.
Please don't let up on your attacks. You won't change the South, but we really can't afford to lose ANYONE!
I do the best I can, but, trust me, I can't think of anything that would put Georgia or South Carolina in Kerry's column. I hear similar stuff from Kentucky, etc.

11. We can beat this clown handily... |
|
all we have to do is keep bringing up the lousy job he is doing, the truth cannot be taken lightly...:)
Here in Nebraska, I hear NO ONE backing this cretin. And if Nebraska is mute, the GOP cannot be very happy. As for bring God back to the country...I have no idea what god that is, but it sure isn't the Judeo-Christian God he says he does this stuff in the name of. He worships a golden idol.
He's going down, but I agree, we must work hard...:)

Try a - "Bush Knew" or a - "Bush Lied Thousands Died"
Give them something else to focus their hate upon besides the name "KERRY"
I might just personally enjoy watching their silent seething reactions. (Just smile) But don't be suprised if suddenly a memo is passed that restricts political advertisments from being displayed at your place of business.
Neocons work in mysterious ways. Much like those diehard, stubborn midwestern, "old country" settlers. When the mentality of "that's how we've always done it and that's how its gonna stay!" is threatened by a more open minded approach ,they'll seethe to the point of a coronary. Rather than listen to reason, they will justify any means that eliminates the source. They're a whole different breed of people. Small town USA.
