I propose a TV ad for Kerry's campaign, comparing the war records
Edited on Mon Apr-26-04 09:26 AM by AlinPA
released by Bush* and Kerry. The TV ad would show and read the Navy's text on awarding Kerry his Silver Star and Bronze Star (it explains the actions taken by Kerry in Vietnam that demonstrate his valor) and at the same time showed copies of Bush*'s dental records? All it is is a simple comparison of records. It might shut up the media and Rove on this subject.

1. Let's fight fire with fire

Have you noticed when we are in a nicey nicey mode,Bush pulls ahead.
That's because they are bullies and the country is asleep.
When Democrats bully them,in a more intelligent way of course, they back down.
Ex: They hit us on Kerry's war Record-We DEMANDED to see GWB Records. They were using their Pampers big time for ten days. We just kept pounding. They released those records.

When Condi wouldn't testify. We kept pounding, without stop. Condi testifies.

Now, Bush Doody, the puppet is going in his suitcase with Chaney to the Comission Hearings. We should be all over it and , IMO, we are playing nicey nicey.

2. My son, who once was a "conservative", and now a card carrying
Democrat has always said the republicans play dirty and Democrats don't know how to fight. Dean put the fire back in our belly as a party, I think Kerry is a fighter and might be getting tougher given his remark on Good Morning America this A.M. (Where he said "Bush has not shown us that he fulfilled his duty" re: the Vietnam war)

3. Move On just did one
The anti-Bush political group MoveOn PAC released a 60-second television ad Monday comparing Kerry's service in Vietnam to President Bush's record with the Texas Air National Guard. Bush has been criticized for being unable to account for some periods of his Guard service.

"This election is about character," the ad concludes. "It's between John Kerry, who left no man behind ... and George W. Bush, who simply left."

The group is spending a small amount — $115,000 — to run the ad nationally on Fox News Channel and on CNN in Washington, D.C., and New York City media markets.

Good idea, the more talk about Kerry and Bush's records the better. I think the repubs are shooting themselves in the foot by talking about Kerry's medals.

4. Great News
I like it when we fight for our beliefs. They are so precious and we have got to get this election right, by any means necessary.
