I Would Call It Desperation...
Edited on Sat Mar-15-08 07:03 PM by Mike03
Why is it so hard for African Americans to believe that Caucasians could be desperate for Obama to be elected as our next President of the United States?

Please: Believe it. It's true.

We are desperate for someone like Obama to be our next leader. No hesitation, no caveats, no ifs, ands or buts.

1. I second that.
I'm white. I have no doubts as to the ability of Obama to be a wonderful President.
I have NEVER cared what color his skin was. I only care about the intellegence of the person.

2. I Agree With That.
I'd love to see him elected. It would be a tremendous day for us all, for several reasons.

3. Alas desperation isn't a good thing in politics, it turns many people off.

4. I agree
I think that is why so many are so disgusted with Hillary now.

5. which is also why
as we Obama supporters hope to see race less of an issue for our children's generation the Hillary people seek the same for their daughters. I can understand it from both sides and I'm a getting old white dude

6. As an African American I don't find it hard to believe at all
I just hope we can come out of this as a United Democratic party and not a broken one. I fear all the racism is really going to tear this party apart.
