After the Iowa delegate changes, Obama's total delegate lead is now +132 from RCP.

Sorry Hillary, but if you are going to have any chance, you might want to start reducing Obama's lead at the very least.

1. What Is It With Obama People And Having The Lead?
What's all this about having more delegates, more votes, and more states? So what? Big f'n deal. Since when should that determine anything? All this "majority rules" crap is really pissing me off.

:grr:

36. You ARE kidding, right? You DID forget the sarcasm tag?
Or do you really not realize that the person with the most delegates wins and that's what the primaries are ALL about? Nah, no one could be that stupid.

And some people seriously think she has a shot?

14. Shouldn't she have done so today?
Seems like about half of John Edwards' delegates decided that since he's out they were going to switch their support to Obama. Why didn't Hillary pick up any of their votes?

I guess maybe she's ready on day 113...and not before!!

Looks like 8 Edwards' delegates + 1 from Clinton went for Obama today, for a net of 10.

And she'd have to pick up nearly all of them to overtake him.

8. Look at it this way, all Hillary has to do is win every single one of PA's pledged delegates...
and they would be about even before he takes the lead again in IN, NC, and OR.

According to Chuck Todd, Obama is ahead by 155 PDs now.

Pledged Count: Obama leads 1,407-1,252
Superdelegates: Clinton leads 253-217
OVERALL TOTAL: Obama leads 1,624-1,505

13. Not so sure that she'll get those states, actually...
Obama would be very competitive in Michigan, and with campaigning can probably pull out a win in a revote. And Florida would probably go in the neighbourhood of 55/45 for Clinton, which won't give her enough delegates or votes to matter a damn. (Remember, she only got 55% vs 'uncommitted' in Michigan; there's no reason to expect she'll do better this time around.)

18. It's called Pennsylvania. And Florida, although the DNC is struggling to keep it from being counted.
You want to know why? Because she'll win. And you can only win if you keep people out.

26. If she got 65% of the vote in Pennsylvania
she would narrow Obama's lead by 48 delegates.

Not nearly enough to close that gap.

Hillary easily accomplished her goal. Obama faltered when he should have surged.
