That is, if you count this type of experience as important. But of course I'm sure many of you don't.

1. Obama v. Clinton
11 years vs. 8 years give or take a year.

2. So is this a meaningful difference in experience?
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 09:14 AM by izzybeans
For me it is when Clinton claims to be the more experienced one.

7. If the Clinton campaign claims to be more experienced then I certainly do.
Perhaps I should of been more clear (or I misspoke). He has nearly double the experience in all reality.

I'll edit.

9. See my edit.
That's what I meant to say. My son was jumping around when I typed that and I didn't finish my thought.

6. Experience
Edited on Sun Mar-16-08 09:18 AM by fightthegoodfightnow
I'm not voting for experience.

I'm voting for change, but to answer your question, I think it's irrelevant.

Experience is meaningless if the candidate loses his or her soul.

I'm going with Obama for change.

Clinton lost me at South Carolina when she became rather suddenly Billary.

Ever since then, it's been nothing but fear mongering and I've had enough of that sh*t.

8. I like your thoughts, but remember to point out Obama has more objective experience
in elected office than clinton next time some one brings it up.

12. A state rep is *much* more important than a United States Senatot?

19. Don't Give Clinton the Power
See your response is exactly what's wrong with this thread.

Clinton supporters would just LOVE for this to be about 'experience'. Of course, when Bill Clinton had limited experience only as a governor, he was talking about 'change'.

But most Americans are sick and tired of 'experience' particularly when the results of that Senate experience are nothing more than splitting hair ends about supporting this billion or that billion for that war whose 'mission is accomplished.'

Enough. It's time for RADICAL change and Hillary Clinton does not represent that.

15. Obama of course. But HRC supporters don't like to talk about that kind of experience, you know...
the kind of experience there is an actual record for. They prefer to discuss less tangible "experience" , the type of thing that is claimed and inflated but which cannot be proven.

16. And they'll show their ignorance of local political strategies by diminishing his
experience with the disingenuous "present" vote attack.
