16. Where was all your outrage about Huckabee's anti-gay sermons?
Or were those ok, since the whole point of this website is to destroy Democratic nominees?

20. You know who she reminds me of?
All those ditzy women who claimed they worked with Clarence Thomas and he never made a pass at them! As if that proved he didn't harass other women!

What is with these koolaid drinkers anyway that all they have is stupid youtube videos? Is it beyond them to read up on the history of this so-called pastor and the history of why Obama chose this "church?" It had nothing to do with "coming to Jesus."

Here, you youtube cultists. Try reading: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/Articles/bobamasunlikelypoliticaledu.html

9. The little problem with all of this is that the sermons are on tape.
I don't know how someone could attend that church for years and not notice (or deny) what was said.

5. If I were a UCC official
I'd sure want to do some damage control around Rev. Wright. The UCC is a liberal denomination, accepting of diversity. It's really a shame to see them linked with such hate.

They may need to take some disciplinary action.... if THEY don't want the UCC to be smeared.

Really a shame for them. Because they have, in the past, come out in defense of gay relationships. Even ran ads I believe.

no matter who it is aimed at.

The UCC needs a reality check on this one.

11. I hope they will take a serious look at what is being said in their name.
I trust they will... but it may take time. Church hierarchies do not move quickly.

I suspect that the infrastructure of the denomination is really beside themselves on this.

10. It's not hate speech no matter how many
times people lie and say it is. God white America is fucking clueless and arrogant.

15. This adds some needed perspective to this ridiculous non-story.
30 seconds of soundbites dug up by Fox News are not indicative of 30 years of preaching.

The whole idea that Obama hates white people (being half-white himself and being raised by his white grandparents) because 1% (at most) of his pastor's sermons are controversial is ridiculous on its face.

Obama talks about the relationship between religion & politics. It's brilliant. Worth the time.

19. Doesn't matter what the church said. Obama CONDEMNED the pastor
Nobody is defending the church but themselves.
