2. Might it not be better to leave the poll alone?

If * wins at 92% then he and they will look like nothing more than a banana republic dictator a la Ferdinand Marcos. If we leave some of these polls unfreeped it may show the other side to be the rabid animals that they are. Nobody is going to believe 92% for * and then the site loses credibility.
