Rasmussen Florida - McLame: 47, Clinton: 40 ; McInsane: 47, Obama: 43 |
|
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/florida/florida_2008_presidential_electionThe latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Florida shows John McCain holding a four-percentage point lead over Barack Obama and a seven- percentage point lead over Hillary Clinton. It’s McCain 47% Obama 43% and McCain 47% Clinton 40%. For Obama, this reflects a significant improvement compared to polling in February. For Clinton, little has changed.
The top three issues in the state are the economy, the War in Iraq, and National Security. Forty-seven percent (47%) say the economy is most important, 17% name Iraq, and 11% National Security. Nine percent (9%) say Immigration is the top issue while 5% say Health Care.
Among voters who consider the economy as the highest priority, Clinton enjoys a three-point advantage over McCain while Obama holds a six-point edge. Just 13% of Florida voters rate the U.S. economy as good or excellent. Thirty-four percent (34%) say fair, 49% poor. Ten percent (10%) say the economy is getting better while 74% say it is getting worse. Nationally, the Rasmussen Consumer Index shows consumer confidence near its lowest level of the past seven years.
Among voters who view the War in Iraq as the biggest voting issue of Election 2008, Clinton has a thirteen percentage point advantage over McCain and Obama leads the Republican hopeful by twenty-four points. However, among those who say National Security is most important, McCain leads Clinton 94% to 6% and Obama 89% to 5%.

2. Once again, Rasmussen is out of control and needs to be stopped |
|
There are too many pollsters, and too many polls. This must be made to stop with legislation if necessary.

10. You are probably right. |

McCain will play very well in Florida. In such a bad year for the GOP, they will have an unexpected oasis in Florida.

I would say that McLame has his full share there at 47 percent and he will not go above it. The only way he can win in FL is the way all R's win in FL and that is to subvert the AA vote. I would think that would be much more difficult with Obama at the head of the ticket.

Much better than Obama. The I-4 will decide the state as it always does.

19. That is another factor. |

It is no concidence that Bush carried most of I-4 in 2000 and 2004 with the help of Jeb's machine.

16. yeah I dont see how we win that state |
|
Just win OHIO and we have the game I think she has a better chance to win FLA, but a much worse shot at picking up NEVADA< COLORADO, IOWA, which we need to win. FUCK FLORIDA anyway they cant even get a DEM primary right, alot of people forget that if they had kept to the rules they would have been the only game in town.

7. Florida really is a weird bunch of people! |
|
They say the economy is their #1 concern and they're for the guy who says he doesn't know much about it. The moajority of the people there are OLD, but health care is their least importanat concern????
I doubt any Dem will ever win in Fla. It doesn't matter if the Dem loses by 4% or 40%, it's still a lost cause!
