I have reached the point where neither Hillary or Obama
represent me at all . Both were not my choice in the first place and now that I have seen how this has become a divided party with hate and mud slinging and defensive posturing on both sides I can see that neither the candidates or supporters are what this country needs now to even beging to attempt to fix this disaster . McCain is certainly not the choice .

I feel we are screwed now for at least another 4 years .

Don't people have a mind of their own any longer . I can't tell if the liberal radio is the wedge or the blogs , it's like what came first , the chicken or the egg . All I hear are the very same talking points on blogs and radio when it comes to politics .

We will make history all right , 4 more years of sheeple being led by the nose . Once again the media wins .

2. Just because your candidate didn't make it
doesn't make the rest of us "sheeple". I'm sorry you don't feel represented but God I hate that fucking word.

7.  It was not my candidate .
It was A candidate that could have represented the country as a liberal that was ignored . and yes . anyone who falls in line through media forced picks is a follower of drivel and double speak .

8. Well, it must be lonely at the top
with all the truly smart and liberal people. Sorry that the majority of Democrats don't suit your needs.

19. Oh . jesus
All the sarcasm and smart ass remarks and I should desire to be on your side . How do you know what the hell the majority of any one party really feels ?

You want to explain that so it makes sense to anyone other than yourself .

Simply because I do not fall in line with the so called majority does not place me on the top of anything . That is not my attitude or intent .

3. are you going to give specifics about what you don't like about the candidates and the media?
And why specifically you feel we're screwed with Hillary or Obama but not your original choice? Or is the point of posting here just to mope?

13. Mope ? absolutely not ,
The media has first off taken us into these wars , hell they built their entire structure around it and as you must know they are owned by the very corporations who benefit from war .

As for Hillary and Obama . Both have made more of a point of winning than actually sticking to issues and shown plans of how to find a path out of the maze .

As time has gone by this has become both of their entire focus , the win is all that matters .

I don't care how people care to avoid this but it has became a white women against a black man issue . who is kidding who , really , you tell me . This country did not suddenly change values because of an election .

I am not going to play this game , I want the issues and the how and the plans . Nothing less , and I don't see this and it has gotten a lot worse lately . I am not blind to reality .

4. Thank you for your post.
I feel the same way. I'm starting to believe that both of them just suck. And liberal radio, I turned it off about 2 months ago.

5. I don't know how
to say this without sounding unkind, but you have been at that point for quite some time if your posts accurately reflect your feelings Blues90.
I'm sorry you feel so alienated from either candidate, but complaining about our choices doesn't really do much to help anyone. You have every right to speak your mind. I don't mean to dis you, or imply you are wrong to feel as you do-
There is plenty of negativity in the world to go around. It's hard to hope- It's hard to take a chance on being disappointed, or to be willing to work for change. Despair and depression is understandable, but pretty self defeating.

I wish I could offer you something tangible to help you feel better.

Peace~

10.  i have continued to try to find hope in either candidate
without giving up , yes I have always had doubts but now after each day there is more and more division and less and less talk about issues as well as plans from either candidate layed out on how they plan to approach this mess I have now given up .

I can see where this is headed , we have been here before .

9. Politics is a game of compromise
Our government is meant to serve everyone in the country, and everyone wants different things. You're never going to get everything you want. All you can do is keep pushing for it and vote for the people who you think will do the best job.

16.  Better off , yes , but to what degree ?
I don't see plans to end Iraq and murder or some great job come back or healthcare that can actually work .

Everyone seems to feel all jobs will come from green jobs that come out of nowhere .

Just give me some truth and stick with it , that's all . I want to hear , look people , this is going to be a long hard road and a lot of work and many may not see personal change anytime soon , the countries broke . Here is what I will do to start . I can handle truth and if I have it I can then prepare a plan of my own to work through it .

Like, do you ever smile and stuff?

I always feel like the skies just got consumed with dark gray storm clouds after I get done reading one of your posts.
