Obama Gains 14 More Delegates

CHICAGO -- On a day when Sen. Barack Obama picked up more pledged delegates in Iowa and California, the senator from Illinois told a crowd in suburban Indianapolis on Saturday that it is time to turn away from the "forces of division," and to choose instead "a different path that says: We have different stories, but we have common dreams and common hopes."

4. He is going to pick up more from Ohio too.
Turns out that Ohio has a bunch of provisional
ballots that haven't been counted ... and guess
what? they are from areas that have shown support
for Obama.

Everyday it seems like he is picking up more and more
delegates.

22. States that have lots of white people don't count ...
Just like states that have lots of black people don't count. The only states that count are "big" states with lots of Latinos and white blue collar workers. Sheesh. :eyes: How many times do I have to explain this?

28. It changes...
depending on who wins. I feel sorry for Iowans. After having their caucus since 1972, this year they find out that they have been engaging in undemocratic practices all along.

Are these delegates from California on top of the ones he got a week or two ago, or are they the same thing?

14. Time for Hillary to face reality and bring her ugly campaign to an end
and at least salvage some dignity out of all of this.

Hillary should sue Mark Penn for incompetence!

19. Mark Penn's, "Iowa doesn't count" blast comes back to chomp his butt.
Guess those people in Iowa might not have liked that
comment too much. Mark "$10 Million" Penn ... Dr. Smooth.

BTW Doesn't Edwards have delegates in New Hampshire &
South Carolina too?

23. Yes, but those aren't caucuses
The system is different. Technically no delegates in Iowa have been pledged to Obama, Hillary or Edwards yet. Obama picked up county delegates which means he's estimated to gain more delegates at the state convention (in June). Edwards' delegates in New Hampshire and South Carolina are already pledged to him (though they too can switch, but not in the way Iowa did.)

15. He has won Jan., Feb., & March
He now leads in the raw vote, states, delegates, and is even
in super delegates (he should be ahead by next week).

The media and the right wing are propping up Hillary
to keep the "battle" going. She is all but mathematically
out of it.

18. This was over for Hillary on Super Tuesday.
She gave it all or nothing and threw every last penny into this 22 state election. She was broke the next day and it was said she didn't expect to go further than that for the win. Since then it's bash the nominated candidate.
