He has shown to the American people that he is a political opportunist and sold his friends, church, supporters, and independents down a crooked road.
His arrogance alone had many Americans turned off by his fake rhetoric. Now, he has offended one to many of the mainstream voters who can finally see what this guy is really about.
Hillary made a mistake in offering Obama the VP in the first place. Thank God, he is arrogant enough to turn it down. Obama's message is flawed, his campaigned is damaged, and he will finally come to realize that the majority of voters are not going to buy into his crap any longer.
The democratic party knows this all too well, and will nominate Clinton, purely on the basis of electability. The republican machine will go after Obama full steam. Obama is a complete liability to democratic party; if the Wright story came out even a month ago, Hillary would be far ahead, and the democratic party knows this. So don't kid yourselves that Obama is electable, he simply isn't; and Obama and his supporters have nobody to blame but themselves.

The public will be sick of the video by then. There are only so many times they can play the same thing before even folks who don't like Obama will be saying "don't you have anything else?"
There's no follow up to it. Assuming there are no more videos of the good reverend (and my guess is a thorough search has already been done at this point), its a one hit wonder, and it can only be played so much before it just becomes annoying.
I'm not really worried about the GE with either candidate - McCain is terrible. But I do think NOTHING will energize a dispirited, demoralized Republican voter base like a Clinton on the ticket.

Hillyhas lost. My opinion of hilly is just as bad as your opinion of Obama. Neither are fact, but merely opinion. I think she's sleaze and bullshit personified, and is where she is largely because she's married to bill. She's a lousy fucking manager, a shitty strategizer, and has run a terrible campaign. She's the worst kind of political opportunist. She voted for the IWR out of political convenience.
You are delusional if you believe the dem party will nominate hilly. Nancy Pelosi made it clear where she stands today and over the past week- and it ain't with hilly. And Pelosi doesn't just have one SD vote. She brings with her a couple of dozen- at least. The dem party evidently does not see your dear hilly as the most electable. Don't kid yourself that she's going to pull off the nomination. Back to Chappaqua with hilly and billy.

I don't see her as an embarassment to the dem party, even though I don't think she's been a strong Speaker. And regardless what you think of her, she is the most powerful dem in D.C., like it or not. And yes, how she votes is the way dozens of dems in the House will vote. It's beyond naive not to know this.

36. Thanks for sharing. Yep, that's why Obama keeps winning. Take a look at Iowa yesterday |
|
to see how horrified mainstream voters are by Wright's comments. Those Iowans saw 24/7 of Jeremiah Wright on Friday and showed up on Saturday and abandoned Obama in droves. They were so horrified and turned off by Wright and Obama, so scared that the Democratic party would be ruined--ruined, I tell you!--that Obama gained 9 delegates to his previous total while Clinton lost 1 delegate.
So much for that theory.

60. Wake Up Obama Maniacs |
|
More and more it becomes clear that Obama while a steamroller in the Democratic primary's, cannot win the general election in November. Just last year it looked as if the Democrats could not lose the White House in 2008, but that was before young Democrats became hypnotized by a charismatic wordsmith, and black America deserted Hillary Clinton in droves. It's time to read the writing on the wall, while Obama has more delegates at this time, Clinton has won most of the big states that will be necessary for victory come November, certainly if the Democratic primary's were winner take all Clinton would be ahead in delegates and if Florida were added she would be comfortably ahead. Do you think the Republicans are going to let Obama off the hook when it comes to his relationship with the Reverend Wright, or the fact that until recently he had taken $ millions from special interests, and then there is his friendship and land deals with Antoin "Tony" Resko. Even beyond that, there are the rumors about his religion, or the fact that he hasn't done much in the Senate except prepare to run for President, even more so Obama is extremely liberal and he will be labled as such by the Republican attack machine. All in all while Hillary Clinton has many negatives, the main one being her last name, I believe she is more electable than Obama and will make a better President than a washed up Bush impersonator or a revival style preacher long on charisma but short on deeds, wake up Democrats its not too late.
