Mods, how about GD-PP and GD-PN?
General Discussion Primaries POSITIVE

The posts allowed here share what you like about your candidate. Brag up a storm! Tells us what you dig about Obama or Clinton without tearing down the other to do it. Posts here include sharing the optimism that Dems will indeed WIN the GE and that the battle ahead with McCain and the puke war mongers is by far the most compelling focus. People that post here understand that the path to unity as a party (and as DU) is to share what is working rather than focusing on being divisive. What is full about the glass? :grouphug:

General Discussion Primaries NEGATIVE

A place where any one that wants to eat our own, toss out hate filled rants against either candidate, whine about how the Dems are screwed, or how McCain and his sheeple minions have already won. Consider it a receptacle to rehash and spew freeper, Faux, and RW wacko talking points. Call it a muddy morass where naysayers can hang out and beat the fuck outta each other! You can get your carpet as dirty as you want in here - rage on! :spank:

Ummmmm, I wonder where we would get the most productive work done? See ya in GD-PP! :hi:

1. Or GD Primary -Obama and GD Primary -Hillary
Only supporters or positive threads in each. It would be interesting. A 'Hillary people only' kinda of thing. It could work. Peace, Kim

4. You should have started a thread accusing fellow Democrats of being Nazis.
Those are apparently permissible.

10. Still working...

The purpose behind my post was twofold - most importantly to try and suggest in a general way ---without calling anybody out--- that playing smashmouth with our own serves no positive good in any way. Maybe a disruptor will get a hint?

If the mods would take my (or your) suggestion I was not sure about. It seems BIG changes around here are put to a vote - as they should be (thanks Skinner). Via your thread, ThatBozGuy I did learn they prefer to have forum requests PM'd to them directly.

Maybe this thread will be locked soon - but I don't see it as in any way controversial. Just offering suggestions how to freshen up the air for those of us on DU that prefer to chat in a productive environment, rather then a circular firing squad.

peace~:)

7. Awww, nice idea, Riverstone.
The admins are probably so busy right now they can't do this, but I love your idea, and I would definitely do my best to hang out in the positive forum.

Take care!

8. good idea- or to quote Grown2Hate ...
Perhaps we should have TWO discussion boards dedicated to the primaries, one of which will be entitled, "General Discussion - Primaries". The other will be called, "General Discussion: Hey, Me and My Candidate Just FUCKED YOUR MOM! Whatcha think about THAT?!".

i think its a great idea either way!
