Draft Edwards.

After all the yelling and screaming, all the talk about race and gender, all the baloney, let us talk about the one person who could have brought it all together.

We want serious consideration to dump both Clinton and Obama and go for Edwards. He represents all of us. Edwards knows what we need, what we support. Please, as the deliberations get more hot and heavy, give voice to the man who will represent all of us, no matter what race or gender.

The option of voting for Edwards was taken from us by the Media, let's take it back. We, the electorate, have had our choice muted. Never did Edwards supporters expect that his campaign would be so ignored. We want a voice. Draft Edwards. It is in your power to do so.

Below is an Edit...

Wow, it doesn't take long to get into trouble here. I won't take back my thoughts but I respect yours. I am just afraid of everything now. My 2 cents worth, thats all. It's not like it will really happen. Just musing........

4. Edwards doesn't represent me.
In fact, I have only rumors as to what he thinks since he dropped out of the race. Why hasn't he spoken about anything? What kind of a leader does that make him? Please tell me.

7. Who's we? Because you don't speak for me. To put it mildly
I don't like Edwards. Never liked Edwards. Never trusted Edwards. And this is one scenario I'd fight like hell against. Same with Gore who I do like. Say what you will but Obama and Clinton fought and are fighting for what they believe in and the nomination. I'll have to hold my nose to vote for Clinton but I'd never ever fucking think about voting for some candidate installed by pledged and SDs and I'd got to Denver and march against it. Edwards dropped out and there is NO reason to think he didn't do it of his own volition. And he fucking lost Iowa and that wasn't because of the media. The electorate rejected St. Johny. They did NOT support him.

Fuck that idea. And YOU don't speak for the majority. duh.

11. Thanks. The completely undemocratic idea of installing
a candidate by fiat is NOT progressive.

8. You don't speak for me.
I was an Edwards supporter before he dropped out, and it took me a long time to decide which candidate I wanted to back.

I was disappointed in his sudden suspension of his campaign.

9. As a white man, John Edwards has the privilege of silence
about his race and gender during the campaign that Clinton and Obama do not. I'm tired of hearing about Edwards as some white knight coming around to save us. I'm sorry he didn't break through because I think he was a great candidate too, but he didn't. If the media had something to do with it well, it's the 21st century and them's the breaks.

12. Edwards
Nonsense. I was an Edwards supporter too, but it is absurd to think that we can resuscitte his candidacy now. Besides, what's the problem? We have a terrific candidate who is in the lead in every way.
