I just voted for Dennis Kucinich in the Pa primary.
I was Clark girl all the way, and I will fully support John Kerry in November. But I am so damn mad that my state primary came 2 months have the party annointeed it's nominee.

So, I thought I'd throw Dennis a little love.

1. thank you
as Dennis said in his appearances in Philly on Friday, the more votes he gets the more we can POSSIBLY move the party a little to the left.

5. Actually, he's moving it back to center
The party has been moving to the right of center lately.

3. Very nice!
Felt pretty good didn't it? I am so proud that we have him hanging in there. I will certainly support Kerry all the way but Kucinich has and always will be the closest to my heart and values.

BTW, I met Clark and heard him speak, he was wonderful. It took me a while but I have come to respect him greatly. The Clark folks were the people who allowed us to go the next round with DK in our caucus. (We ended up with too few to get him a national delegate but we were able to band together and influence the choices.) They all came over to us at my caucus site, everyone else went over to Kerry.

4. I keep forgetting it Election Day here in Pa. - pretty sad 'eh?
I will probably go just to make sure I'm not purged from the rolls and actually see all those great Dem names on the ballot. I will vote for Kerry today.

BTW, there's also that repuke Senate primary Toomey v. Spector.

6. I pulled the lever for Clark
back on NY's election day - knew it wouldn't mean much, that Kerry would win here anyway and I'd clearly vote for him over pretzel boy, but I can go forth saying I voted for the General....

8. Lucky you. It felt good to pull the lever for Dennis, but
I wish Clark was still in it.

10. Still sends a message
Giving the vote to Dennis lets Kerry know that there is still a lot of people who would like to see him move the party away from the "center" - which has become too close to conservative over the years.

20. John Kerry was elected, not annointed
the primary schedule is set up by states and was put in place long before john kerry won anything and probably before he entered the primary race. it wasn't a schedule set up by kerry himself and the other candidates didn't take issue with it either.
