Do you still hear people claim * will win New York or California?
I laughed my ass off when I first heard those claims, and the fact that anyone could believe them now with * getting his ass kicked in polls in both states and not even really contesting them, I wonder how anyone could still be that deluded.

1. Bush learned his lesson in 2000
With regards to Cali. Last time around someone told him that he had a decent shot of winning California. So he spent a lot of time and money on the golden state, then got crushed by 1.3 million votes on election day.

I think he's already written it off as a Kerry win.
