How do you pronounce "Hoeffel" |
|
I've only seen it written and never pronounced. Is it:
1) Heff'l 2)Huff'l 3)Hoe-ful 4)other
I can't figure it out.

The 'e' is silent. It's pronounced "HA-ful".

and was probably originally spelled "Hoffel" with an umlaut (two dots) over the "o."
To pronounce an o with an umlaut, make your mouth like you're about to say an exaggerated "o" but say "e" instead.
