Nixon vs Kerry: Unfinished Business
The silly "controversy" over the metals/ribbons is not a battle over two positions on Vietnam. Rather, it is a conflict over the meaning of America, defined in the early 1970s by Richard Nixon and John Kerry. Even the film clip of a young Kerry on a talk show comes from the Nixon archives. Men like Bush Sr, Rumsfeld, and Cheney were part of the Nixon Administration. Rove is a byproduct of the Nixon White House's secrecy and "dirty tricks." A month ago, we heard the old Nixon tapes describing Kerry as dangerous, and a plan of attack against him being formulated. Today it bears fruit. Yet, two of the voices of the Nixon White House that repented have come out with great books attacking Bush: Kevin Phillip's "American Dynasty," and John Dean's "Worse Than Watergate." We have the ammunition needed to REDEFINE this conflict in the media -- TODAY -- so that the public turns in disgust from the dirty tactics of this administration! Write a letter-to-the-editor today, documenting the Nixon=Bush equation. The public does not want to return to Nixon Land.
