What the hell? CNN does a story on Bush and Kerry's past statements |
|
And Bush comes out ahead?

They played a lot of old Bush quotes, which I thought was great at first--as they pointed out how different Bush's actual actions never matched his campaign rhetoric, but then they followed up on saying that Bush was "defined" as being strong with most voters and Kerry was "undefined".
It was a disgusting spin job.

he's with American Enterprise Inst. They should post a disclaimer when he speaks. Do a google search on AEI, just for giggles.

Bill Schneider and the rest of the Conservative News Network can just f**k off. Man, they really don't hide their anti Democratic bias anymore. American Enterprise Institute must have offices at CNN.

10. Having Bill Schneider, a senior fellow at AEI, works just as well! |

They are working hard to label Kerry as "weak" and not a "straight talker".
Bush is not a straight talker--he is a bellicose jerk whose "steady leadership" is just another word for "intractible, inflexible" leadership.
We desperately need a change in course in Iraq as what we are doing now is plainly not working. There is an alternative to "staying the course" and "cutting and running."
It is very doubtful that Bush and company will do what it is necessary to achieve victory in Iraq--which is to give real sovereignty to the Iraq people--not what Bush and the neocons ordered up when they misled us to war in Iraq.

how they turn it around and the final question from that skinny white bitch is "so Bill, what does the president need to do, stay on course"? Keep flip flopping and we the press will make it all seem like leadership and decisiveness!

A lot of the reasons we are fighting is because of the Vietnam war. Read the Pearl/Frum book. The blame on losing that war is put firmly on the Left. They mention that we weren't "united", so we lost.
In other words, if we were all right-wingers, then we would have won the Vietnam war and the only reason we might lose now is because of the Left.

that they interrupt the war coverage to do a little Kerry-bashing--guess CNN has their war to fight, too, and if they win, we lose.
