John Kerry to begin speaking shortly on C-Span at Westminster College!

It looks like he has on his lucky tie! He's on!

Kerry's speech was very well received by the audience at Westminster College who gave him several hearty standing ovations.

His main point: This may be our last time to get it right in Iraq. No truer words were ever spoken!

1. Nobody watched?

I had to be out all day. Expected to find all kinds of commentary about the speech today. Guess not.

I went and watched it at the web site. Excellent speech. Wild reception. I know there are those who want to pull out of Iraq tomorrow, which he isn't going to do at this point, but he laid out a coherent plan and was adament that it needed to be implemented now. Very good. Very Presidential. Just what we need right now.

2. Any coherent plan is better than what we have now with Bush

Events in Iraq have developed a momentum of their own and the US is reduced to reacting to them. I think that Kerry will have no choice but to pull out of Iraq because that's what the Iraqi people wants, and the world community demands.
