but there's a major difference between 2000 and 2004: There's an incumbent running this year, and the election will be a referendum on him. I remember reading somewhere that Reagan and Clinton won in 1980 and 1992 even though voters had doubts about them. I'm saying that Bush can throw everything at Kerry, but that won't change his own liabilities one iota.

3. A willing Bush shill press helps keep the Chimp out of the limelight |

Today is a perfect example of how the meeting yesterday with Bush and Cheney before the 911 Commission not under oath and with no transcript is being considered non-newsworthy.
I always look at the media with a "if this was Clinton" filter and you can bet that it would be all over the news and would be red meat for the weekend/Sunday talk shows if Clinton and Gore were to have done the same antics.
I also feel that Kerry really needs to start smacking hard back at the lies in the Bush ads. Call them lies.
Get out the goddamn baseball bat and start swinging for the temples.

5. Well, I called this a long time ago |

Of course, Kerry hasn't helped matters much by waiting so damn long to put together a biographical spot for the general election.

7. You don't have to be a Dean supported to be unimpressed with Kerry |

I supported John Edwars. Not only because of his youthful good looks and adorable kids, but because, unlike Kerry, he actually had a MESSAGE. A clear and concise argument for why voters should pick him over Bush. A message which boiled down to this: George Bush believes in an America where the wealthy get all the breaks. I believe in an American where EVERYONE has an opportunity to succeed. George Bush represents wealthy insiders. If I'm elected president, I'll represent regular people like you. Why? Because that's where I come from and that's what I've been doing all my life.
Kerry has been the presumptive nomiee for nearly two months now and he STILL hasn't figured out what his message is. Sigh . . .
