5. I tried, too, but tickets were gone in under 2 hours, so no dice. |
|
Shoot, I saw the email announcing the event come in, too, and assumed it was a fundraising letter and ignored it. :grr:

10. Even on your lunch break? |
|
Aargh! At least you had morals. I was just dumb.
Even the campaign volunteer event tomorrow night is sold out. Seriously. The venue they booked had 110 seats available and they had 111 people signed up and this was yesterday and in Charlotte, NC, a mid-sized, semi-conservative southern city. :wow:
Maybe I should send them a resume, see if they will let me volunteer, I have experience and everything :D

12. Yeah Charlotte is more red than the triangle, I would love to see him in Raleigh |
|
although it would be packed!
Yeah even on my lunch break I really don't want to cross the lines of the political no no's on equipment owned by the taxpayers. Reading news during my lunch is ok, reading news on DU or Obama's site, probably could be construed as advocating or using city owned equipment for a particular political party, ideology, etc.. If it can be percieved as ethically wrong it will be.
