Any thoughts on tomorrow's speech? |
|
I find it fascinating that this is actually the first of three speeches in three days. Does anyone have any thoughts and speculation on what he will be covering (specifics) and if and how he may link the three speeches rhetorically?

7. Size of venue vs. popular interest! |
|
Only so many seats. Don't know the venue, but politicos like a crowd of 500-1200 for best effect.

10. how about a speech on the prison industrial complex? |
|
After all, a disproportionate number of black men are incarcerated in America and exposed to all the ills of that system. Jesse Jackson has spoken out against the criminal justice system and the prison industrial complex.
Has Obama?

9. Chris Matthews thinks it's the most brilliant foreign policy speech since Churchill. |
|
And he will make sure to say so, just as soon as Obama gives it.
Matthews won't be the only one. Some Obama supporters are going to wonder whether (ala Colbert) it was one of the greatest speeches ever, or THE greatest speech ever.
