I just heard Obama's speech. Hillary, get out of the way. You are not the anointed one anymore.

If Hillary wins the election, I predict a revolution within the Democratic party that could result in a new, true, third party.

Obama MUST be our next president!

2. half of the voters prefer Hillary
So how can you suggest that she should leave the race when some haven't even voted yet?

6. Actually It's More Like 40% For Hillary
50% for Obama and 10% Undecided. And that was before his speech.

10. Actually, it's 50 to 48 when you look at votes. One CNN poll doesn't change the dynamics.

7. ...a little less than half..or Clinton wouldn't be behind.
For the record, I don't demand that she leave the race now....but I'll be happy when she does and we can start building a real general campaign.

5. The guy blatantly exploits the race card to get himself out of a political
jam by giving a lofty race speech & he's reaffirmed the savior of mankind.

9. It was actually a complete political fuckup for the frontrunner to do this.
All he had to do is sit back and let Clinton lose.

He chose to give this speech (and 2 more in the next two days).

There's absolutely NO political reason for him to do this...he's already pretty much won the nomination.

21. true leaders do the moral thing even when it is 'against their best
interests'. true leaders put other people's interests ahead of their own. I used to believe the Clintons did but this campaign has changed that for me. Obama is going to get the job but if he loses, he loses
classy and with the best interests of the people met. He didn't pander,
he told the truth and let the chips fall where they may.

11. Yet when a Hillary supporter posts something identical you cheer it.
There's a word for people like you (well, lots of words actually)....hypocrite.

14. No Third Party, But All Hell Will Break Loose If DNC Insiders Decide This
Barring a monumental landslide for Clinton, you can stick a fork in this one. If Clinton does win the delegate race, I will back her, but otherwise I will welcome her back as my Junior Senator.

15. This almost feels like arguing religion...
I can't fathom how people don't see Obama as far better to unify the country....

But I won't put down a Hillary supporter for supporting Clinton.

Loyal Dems we are all.

But if someone does not see how unique Obama is for our time, I won't try and convince them. His speech today said in words far better than mine, why he should be our next president.

22. Obama is the anointed one and has always been. Nice try, though.
Not a Hillary supporter but I hate what you Obama supporters pull with regard to Hillary's campaign. Also, I am confused. You say you predict a revolution in the Democratic Party that could result in a new, true, third party like you support that, right? Are you saying that as a bad thing, because I don't get that from your post? Which is it, good or bad?
