I'm down with Obama and he didn't "get me at hello".... |

...the speech today got me although I haven't heard it yet.I've sat on the fence since Edwards dropped out and posted sporadically without announcing a choice. I haven't heard the speech but I 've heard enough of the effect to decide that a man who can heal so many, so well, just by opening a dialog is worthy of my support. Both candidates had a chance to sell me and I sat and waited for indications of a real change of course. Tomorrow I'll check out the words of the speech that swayed my choice. But my decision has been made-I see the level of discourse rising and that is enough.

tonight is more about having a beer and enjoying the catharsis of making a choice. It was hard since he has so little of a public record and that Hilliary for her faults I expected to be able to pull all the right levers.....I hope and pray his intentions are as good as his words but you pays your nickle and takes your choice. In a country devoid of optimism and hope I find I have to vote for it....
